Who publishes this site

The Buy Note is published by The Buy Note in Pakistan. “We” and “us” mean the publisher; “you” means anybody reading.

What the site is

A set of notes. Somebody chooses a small number of products worth considering in each area, writes down why each one is here, and links it to its Amazon listing. Where Amazon’s Product Advertising API is connected, the title, photograph and price beside a product are Amazon’s own, stamped with the moment they were taken and dropped once they are more than a day old; until that access is granted, a product carries only the words written here, with no price and no photograph. Nothing here is bought, opened, used or tested, and nothing here is professional, medical or safety advice or a substitute for it. See the disclaimer for the detail.

Using the content

• Read it, print it, and share links to it freely. Quoting a paragraph with a link back is welcome and needs no permission.
• Republishing a whole page, or a substantial part of one, is not permitted without written permission. Nor is scraping the site to train a model or to populate another product catalogue.
• All original text and page design remain the property of The Buy Note. Product titles, descriptions and photographs belong to Amazon and to the brands themselves, and are shown here under Amazon’s licence to display them. Brand names, product names and logos belong to their respective owners and are used to identify the products discussed.

Prices, availability and errors

Prices and availability may vary.A figure in the Amazon catalogue came from Amazon’s own product data and is a snapshot with the moment it was taken printed beside it; a figure under Picks was entered by us, which those pages say beside it. Either way Amazon’s page is the only accurate source and the only one that decides what you pay. Nothing on this site is an offer to sell — we hold no stock, take no payment and process no orders, and we cannot act for Amazon on an order you placed with them.

Specifications come from Amazon’s listing and are only as current as the listing was when it was last read. Manufacturers revise products without changing a listing, so the item in your hand always wins over the description on this page.

These terms may be updated as the site changes. The date at the top is always the date of the current version, and continuing to use the site means accepting whatever it says on the day you read it.
